Week of Nov. 13th

What are we learning about?

Reading- We are using reading strategies to help us decode words. One strategy to remind your child of is: “skip it for now.” For example if they get to a word that they can not read then skip it and read the rest of the page or sentence and then go back to see if they can figure it out. This way they can use the other words to help them figure the hard word.

Phonics/ Grammar- Please review the phonics chart. We are learning about conjunctions this week. pageChart9 (1)
